Description

HOOK’d is a lamp with a long story. In short, millions of specific brackets are discarded by industry every year. These hooks were used in a powder coating plant, as for example at our partner Bruynzeel Storage Systems. Unfortunately, they can only be used once. The originally copper and brass hooks take on a typical colour gradient due to the colour currently used in the coatery and the automatic powder coating robot. The Hook’d is therefore available in black and in white.

Tolhuijs Design collects these hooks and has lamps assembled from them in a sheltered workshop. With our self-developed stacking system, the lamps are transported to our warehouse where they are packed and shipped to the customer by another social workshop. Dutch design with a long story!
